Hello from Macaronis Resort,

September has brought us a bit slower pace, allowing us to savour the waves, explore the beautiful surrounding islands, and fully enjoy the resort’s amenities.

While things have been quieter, there’s still a lot happening behind the scenes. Our highly sought-after 2024 surf clinics, set for January through March, are filling up fast. If you’re eager to elevate your surfing skills in the paradise of Macaronis, don’t hesitate to contact us. On a somber note, we bid farewell to our beloved Pippa this month, who had been a part of our family since 2017.

It’s an ideal time for intermediate surfers to hone their skills surfing the world’s best waves completely uncrowded with quality coaching from ISA-qualified surf coaches in paradise.

Have you ever dreamed of riding waves in a pristine paradise with little to no crowds? Then visit us in low season, bring along the family for an island adventure and join us at the beginning of 2024 for our annual Surf Coaching Clinics.

Why January to March? These months are a surfing gem in the Mentawais. With fewer crowds and optimal swell conditions, you’ll have the waves to yourself. Non-surfing family members can enjoy the resort and island facilities. In contrast, the rest of the surfing members can join in on the surf clinic fun and improve their surfing skills simultaneously.
