Dedi Sabatilat. Guest Relations Manager. Born and raised in the Mentawai Islands, Dedi Sabatilat has dedicated his life to making sure every visitor feels at home. As our Guest Relations Manager for over five years, he knows every guest by name, every wave by heart, and exactly how to make your stay unforgettable. Ask anyone who has been to Macaronis, and they will tell you the same thing. Dedi is a legend.

Raju. Lead Surf Guide. A Mentawai local with an intimate knowledge of every break in the area, Raju brings genuine skill in the water and a quiet dedication to every guest he looks after. Whether he is pointing you to the right break for your level or keeping a watchful eye on the lineup, Raju is the kind of surf guide who makes a good trip a great one. A valued member of the Macaronis team for over two years and counting.

Vella. Guest Relations and Yoga Instructor. Vella brings warmth and energy to everything she does at Macaronis Resort. As part of our guest relations team and resident yoga instructor, she has a natural ability to make every guest feel welcome and at ease from the moment they arrive. Always smiling, always willing to help, and always going the extra mile. Vella has been a much-loved member of the Macaronis family for over two years.

Hengky. Resident Nurse. With over four years at Macaronis Resort, Hengky is the calm, capable presence you want by your side when surfing remote Mentawai reef breaks. A skilled nurse with the ability to handle any situation, he is also one of the most talented musicians at the resort. If you make it to karaoke night, you will see exactly what we mean.
