This year we experienced positive dipole climate conditions (IDO+), identified by warmer water (and cloud / rain) around Africa and colder water and less rain around Indonesia and Australia. These conditions occure on average once every 8 years or so. As a result, Southerly off-shore winds have been dominant at Thunders. This clip features some stoked sessions at Thunders aboard Surfalot. South winds are soon expected to disipate as summer conditions take over.
