June was a month where surfers’ dreams came true, as our world-class wave served epic barrels and unforgettable memories. Whether an experienced charger or an aspiring barrel hunter, the lineup was ready to reward all skills and levels.

We have super exciting news to share with you! The coaches for our 2024 surf coaching clinic have been confirmed and we are now open for bookings! There will be more information regarding the clinics below.

📢 Update on Availability:
We have limited rooms available in July and August and thereafter, our resort is fully booked until October 13th, but we do occasionally have cancellations, so still feel free to enquire! We still have some 20% off discounts available in late October / early November, and we have availability from December 15 – 22 after our 4 weeks maintenance period, which is a super fun and mellow time to experience the magic of the Mentawais. Christmas week, December 22- December 29, we only have ONE more room available and the week of New Years is already fully booked.

1. SURFING IN OCTOBER

April thru October is regarded as the most consistent time for larger waves in the Mentawai Islands and Macaronis area. This is when the Indian Ocean is producing storms regularly and swell is usually more intense from all directions.

October is a great month as the crowds are fewer and the larger swells are still consistent, finding waves for every level!

2. SURF COACHING CLINICS 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the coaches for our highly anticipated 2024 Intermediate Surf Coaching Clinics have been confirmed!

Join us for 1-2 weeks or more at Macaronis Resort between January 12th to March 8th, 2024, for an incredible opportunity to enhance your surfing skills. Whether you’re looking to take your surfing to the next level or refine your technique, our professional coaches are here to guide you every step of the way.

Each week will be guided by:

3x coaches
1x Strength, Stretch, Breath and Recovery (SSBR) coach,
2x surf photographers
and 2x Indonesian surf guides – Dedi and Wewe

Our surf coaches will be:
Surf Coaches Week 1 – 4 (January 12th – February 9th)
Special Guest and International Surf Coach – Dave Renaud
Indonesian Coach: Ari Mustofa
Indonesian Coach: Agus Setiadi

Surf Coaches Week 5 – 8 (February 9th – March 12th)

3. DECEMBER DISCOUNT

Come join us in December. One of the most peaceful times of the year with fun, easy and uncrowded waves, suitable for all surf levels. Families & Couples love this month!

We’re currently offering a low-season special from December 15th to March 15th, which includes a 20% discount for the first 5 surfers to book each week, a 15% discount for the next 5 surfers, and a 10% discount for the remaining surfers.
