• Partner booking agents will be notified of any Specials at least 1 day prior to release to ensure all sales channels have equal opportunity to promote specials. We request partner surf travel agents also respect advertised rates to maintain price parity, and fairness to all involved in marketing of Macaronis Resort.

• We will not intentionally accept a booking from a client who has already been making an inquiry to book Macaronis Resort with a partner booking agent. If we become aware of this, we will recommend the client books through your agency. If the client refuses or has already booked direct (without us knowing), we agree to award commission where appropriate; depending on the date of the initial inquiry, associated marketing efforts, and length of inquiry. We welcome partner booking agents to contact us if any discrepancy may have occurred, and we will be happy to clarify the situation and award commission where appropriate.

Early Bird Discounts
November 2025 - March 2026 (Low Season): The first 5 surfers to book each week get 30% off the Surfer Package, the next 5 surfers get 20% off and the next 5 get 15% off. March – October 2026: The first 5 surfers to book each week get 20% off the Surfer Package, the next 5 surfers get 15% off and the next 5 get 10% off. Members of a Group enjoy the same rates as the first person booking. We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance for clients to enjoy these great savings!

Long-stay Discounts (until October 30th 2026)
Surfers get guaranteed 30% Off the Surfer Package in their second and additional weeks if staying a minimum of 14-Nights.

Group Bookings, Early Bird Discounts & Application of Promo Codes
We guarantee that all members of a group pay the same price. So if a client gets 20% off and recruits 10 of their friends to visit, then all of the group gets 20% off. If there is a change made while you are awaiting a client to confirm, we can be flexible. Quotes are usually valid for 7 days.

Private Resort Booking: Book a minimum of 7 nights paying for 24 rooms/surfers and each surfing guest receives 20% off their first week and 30% off their second week applicable to the surfer package. A speedboat charter price is also available for a large group arriving and departing together connecting with the Mentawai Fast Ferry. Also included is a complimentary 5-10 minute group movie of your trip to take your memories home with you!

Non-surfers, Beginner Surfers and Kids rates are fixed year round
Non-surfers/Beginners are charged a flat rate year-round of USD 125/Night (the room costs extra). Children 6 - 12 years are charged non-surfer rates, even if they surf. Kids under 6 years old stay for free.

Holds & Quoted Discounts Valid 7 Days
You can place a HOLD on a booking for 48 hours by emailing us. If not requiring a HOLD but available discounts change since making your first enquiry, you can let us know and we will honor your original quoted rate, if within 7-10 days.

Industry Bookings

Guest Travel Insurance Details Required In-Hand Printed Certificate
Resort Management requires guests to have travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage. We request that each guests brings a printed copy of their insurance policy with them to the resort. Beginner Surfer Package
We have one of the best learning waves in the Mentawais right at our front doorstep. Beginners are priced the same as a non-surfer, this is a guest that will not be allowed to surf at any other waves aside from the beach break 'Fish Fingers'. Commission StructureWe offer up to 17% commission for marketing, sales, and reservations management of client bookings. Commission is calculated from the Room and Guest packages while resort transfers and surf tax is non-commissionable. If referring a client with no sales or reservations management work involved, then we still offer 15% if your agency has actively promoted us in the past six months, or 10% if your agency is not actively promoting us. Actively promoting us means that your agency has included MR in at least one email blast, on social media, or in paid advertising over the past six months. In the peak season there is no minimum requirement except keeping our listing up to date on your website. In low season we do have a minimum requirement of including our low season promotions in at least 1-2 email blasts and on social media within six months of sending us a booking, otherwise, we can only provide a 10% referral fee. As there is minimal cost to include us in an email blast and/or in a social media post, we highly recommend taking advantage of promoting Xmas, New Years, and our Intermediate Surf Coaching Clinics which have become very popular and have been fully booked in recent years.

All bookings made by your agency with payment made by bank transfer receives up to 17% commission on ALL accommodation packages* (deducted from the final payment). Alternatively, if you or your client would like to pay us directly with Visa or Mastercard booking online, then we offer 15% commission / referral fee. During the peak season there is no minimum promotional requirement, except keeping our listing accurate and up to date on your website. If referring a booking to us, we can transfer commission / your referral fee once full payment is collected. *Guest Transfer Fee (Airport - Resort - Airport) and surf tax is non-commissionable.

All bookings made by your agency with payment made by bank transfer receives up to 17% commission on ALL accommodation packages* (subject to meeting minimum promotional requirements, deducted from the final payment). Alternatively, if you or your client would like to pay us directly with Visa or Mastercard booking online, then we offer up to 15% commission / referral fee. * We require a minimum commitment to include our low season promotions in at least 1-2 email blasts and/or on social media to receive the full commission entitlement, otherwise, we can only provide a 10% referral fee. If referring a booking to us, we can transfer this once the full payment is collected. *Guest Transfer Fee (Airport - Resort - Airport) and surf tax is non-commissionable.

Speedboat Hire Between Macaronis & Other Mentawai Locations

Due to our remote location and busy operational schedule, Macaronis Resort does not offer speedboat transfers to or from other Mentawai surf camps, ports, or resorts outside of our regular transfer schedule.

If you require private speedboat hire between Macaronis Resort and another Mentawai location, please let us know—we’ll be happy to connect you with a reliable third-party operator.

Travel insurance is obligatory when traveling to Macaronis Resort. Please ensure you read and understand our Terms and Conditions of Booking which are also applicable to your clients by bookings through your agency.

We highly recommend travel insurance is taken out for each traveler as soon as possible after making their reservation to cover against financial loss that could occur if your client needs to cancel or make changes to their reservation within 90 days before booking commencement, during which time penalties do apply - See Clause 4 Cancelation policy, Clause 5 Re-scheduling, and Clause 6 Substitution of a Client.
