1. GUEST TYPES – DEFINITIONS
“Surfer” is somebody over 12 years of age that intends to be surfing reef breaks including Macaronis. Surfers must pay Mentawai surf tax and for freight and handling of surf board bags, included in the round trip transfer package. Private Room AU $390/night. Twin Surfer Room AU $360/night.
“Beginner” is somebody that would like to learn to surf using our soft top surfboards, which can be used at the sand bottom beach break, ‘Fish Fingers’ – A free 1 hour surf lesson is included. “Non-surfers” are priced the same as Beginners. Private Room AU $250/night. Shared Room AU $195/night.
“Child” is somebody 6 – 12 years of age and is priced as a Non-surfer/Beginner. Children under 6 stay free, do not include them when selecting rooms. Private Room AU $250/night. Shared Room AU $195/night.
“Infant” is somebody under 2 years of age. Infants stay and travel free of charge.

2. BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Adding your card details is optional. You do not need to add your card details to request a quote.
STEP 1 – Choose Your Itinerary
Select your trip dates by viewing available discounts and choice of ferry transfers by reviewing the ‘Trip Calendar’. Enter your chosen Check-in and Check-out dates into the booking system.
Enter ‘Number of Persons’ aged over 6 into the booking system. Children under 6 stay free, do not include them.
Enter your Promotional Code if you have one (see Trip Calendar), and Click ‘SEARCH’
Please note: promotional codes do not apply to Intermediate Surf Coaching Clinic Jan 25 – Feb 22, year 2019.
STEP 2 – Choose Your Accommodation
Select your rooms. Individual guest prices are bundled and displayed per room, you can view Individual guest pricing here: Room Pricing Breakdown, or for full details refer to Packages & Rates
Two adults (13+) are permitted per room. Children aged 6 – 12 are charged as Non-surfers & can share a Non-surfer Room, or can be accommodated as a 3rd guest in a Queen bedroom using a fold-out bed. Notify us of any children aged under 6 staying free of charge in ‘Special Requests’.
Note: Contact us if your selection of rooms or dates are unavailable. Sometimes overlapping trip dates or rooms already booked can cause requested rooms or trip dates to show as unavailable, when in fact we do have availability!
STEP 3 – Choose Your Transfers
All guests (excluding infants) must pay for transfers to and from the resort, select from the available options.
A transit night in Padang is required on each transfer leg using Mentawai Fast when booking a round trip transfer package, we recommend Mercure Hotel, select the number of rooms you require at the beginning and end of your trip.
A surcharge of AU $75.00 is applicable if choosing to travel DIRECT aboard Mentawai Fast – arrive or depart in just 4.5 hours!
If only requiring a 1-way transfer or need to be picked up and / or dropped off in Sikakap Port, or if requiring a 1-way DIRECT transfer aboard Mentawai Fast, notify us in ‘Special Requests’ and we can provide pricing.
After selecting your Rooms and Transfers, click ‘NEXT STEP’ to view a cost breakdown.
STEP 4 – Submit Your Request
Enter Contact, Room & Guest details, read & agree to terms and conditions if making a payment, advise of any ‘Special Requests’, & Click ‘Send Booking Request’
A quote will be generated and emailed to you shortly. Respond to us asking any questions by email or using live chat on our website, we’re always happy to help and looking forward to hearing from you!

Our online booking system does not offer a submission box to enter a payment amount. Instead, we state in our terms and conditions the amount that will be charged on submitting your card details, which is either a 30% deposit (outside of 60 days before ‘Trip Commencement’), the ‘Balance Payment’ (due at 60 days, must be paid within 15 days), or ‘Full Payment’ (if booking within 60 days).

On submitting your card details and booking request, when next online we will review your request before processing your payment and sending Reservation Confirmation. If anything is unclear, we will contact you before processing your payment.
