Mooring Use at Macaronis

In October year 2012, the Mentawai Government announced they will be taking over management of the twin mooring system at Macaronis in year 2013. Please standby for further information on this.

The twin mooring buoy system is in compliance with Public notice issued by Head of Mentawai Government Feb 2009

Both Moorings nearby Macas wave have been surveyed by Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI), and are licensed by the Mentawai Government.

In year March 2013, both mooring have been fully serviced with new shackles and 1 inch marine grade chain replaced.
