Macaronis Resort Facilities

For now, here are a few of the 3D drawings of the new accommodation and other facilities the resort will offer.

Above: Each bedroom is can be easily converted from Queen sized bed to twin share. Each room is fully sound proofed and has its own flat-screen TV, DVD player, in-house telephone, split air-conditioner, hot water system, private ensuite bathroom, clothes storage, work desk with Wifi, private veranda with day bed, spectacualr views and breezes, elevated 9m above sea level. The prefect place to kick back when out of the surf and needing some rest and recouperation.

Above: The rooms contain a Queen-sized bed, convertable to 2 singles. However this will only be for the purpose of large group bookings or family bookings if required. Mainly the rooms will be sold on a per surfer basis or for a couple.

Above: The lagoon style swimming pool and gardens offer a tranquil place to kick back after a surf, either having a few beers with friends, or catching up on some Wifi internet.

Macaronis Resort Facilities & things to do...

Wireless Hot Spot Internet (up to 512 kbps) available over all resort grounds;

Large Lagoon style swimming pool with pool side massage gazebo, spacious paving and gardens, and pool-side BBQ;

Each air-confitioned bedroom on the second story of the cafe offers its own safety deposit box and administration offers additional safety deposit boxes, Money changing service and other information is also available in the office;

Each room has a coded lock, no need to carry around a key or card, just remember your number code and your in;

The Bar and Restaurant, located on the first floor of the entertainment complex, offers a variety of beers, snacks and mixed drinks;

A Big Screen TV (50 inch) in the bar and restaurant provides a great atmosphere when watching international sports live (Rubgy and AFL are popular on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), plus other channels offer International news, otherwise we usually have a few surf movies playing through out the day;

The third floor of the main building offers a view over Macaronis Bay and surrounding coastline. Binoculars are available to get a close up view of the surf. Here the in-house camera is also set up which shoots live footage to a dedicated TV channel in your bedroom;

The stereo system in the bar also offers an Ipod docking station, so bring along your Ipod and listen to your own selection of music;

Spa Services including traditional deep tissue massages, great after a long day of surfing!!

Fishing tackle and diving equipment is available for those who wish to head off fishing or diving (our chefs will prepare your catch at no extra charge);

A Guided Tour of Silabu and Betamonga Villages offering an opportunity to meet and trade with the locals and gain an appreciation of their culture;

Two Sea Kayaks and one Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) are available for guests to have a paddle around the lagoon or coastline, great for couples to paddle over to the Fish Fingers Beach on the other side of the lagoon;

The white sandy beach stretches approximately 1 kilometer from fish fingers surf break (ideal for learning to surf when it has a wave), and is excellent for running, or just taking a long stroll toward Macaronis surf break. Keep an eye out for crocodile tracks!!

Other Activities at Macaronis Resort include island exploring, snorkeling and game fishing. Guests may also choose to get on a motorbike and ride through the various off-road tracks found on North Pagai Island and visit various other remote villages.
